What to see

The surviving stretch, about 900 metres long, carried water into the city for centuries and was repaired by both Byzantine emperors and Ottoman sultans. The best view is from the small park at its foot on Atatürk Boulevard.

Ten to twenty minutes; it is on the way between the Süleymaniye Mosque, Fatih and Fener.

There is no access to the top.

Getting there

Vezneciler station on the M2 metro is ten minutes away; many buses pass under it on Atatürk Boulevard.
