Pharmacies on duty tonight
Turkish pharmacies close in the evening and on Sundays, but in every district a few stay open all night on a rota — the “nöbetçi eczane”. The rota comes from the provincial pharmacists' chamber and changes every day. Find the nearest ones to where you are standing, or open a province list.
Only provinces whose list could be verified today are offered (15 of 72). Elsewhere, call 184 or look for the “nöbetçi” sign in any pharmacy window.
How it works
The “nöbetçi” sign
Every closed pharmacy has a notice in the window naming tonight's duty pharmacies nearby, with addresses. Look for “NÖBETÇİ ECZANE”.
184
The Ministry of Health line for pharmacies and health questions, free from any phone, Turkish-speaking; 112 is the emergency number and answers in English.
Prescriptions and payment
Many common medicines are sold without a prescription; prices are set nationally, so a duty pharmacy costs the same as any other. Bring your passport if you need a prescription filled.
Data: the daily rota published by each province's pharmacists' chamber, collected by ilçemde, our sister directory. Positions are approximate; where a province's list could not be verified today we say so instead of guessing. Health and emergencies in Türkiye →
