What to see

Dozens of little fires flicker among the rocks; in antiquity they were linked to the myth of the fire-breathing Chimaera. They are most striking after dark.

A stony, uphill path of about a kilometre leads from the parking area to the flames: allow an hour and a half there and back. Bring a torch if you go at dusk.

The site is inside the Olympos Beydağları National Park area; whether an entry fee is charged and at what hours was not found on a primary source.

Getting there

About 3 km from Çıralı village; Çıralı is reached by a side road off the D400 between Kemer and Kumluca.

Transport lines are general directions, not checked against the operator's timetable.
