What to expect

Uludağ is where Istanbul goes skiing: a line of large hotels at the top of the road, each with its own lifts and slopes. Weekends and the school mid-term break are the busiest times.

Bursa itself, with its covered markets and Ottoman baths, makes a good base; Çekirge, Bursa's old thermal quarter, is on the way up.

Getting there

A road climbs from Bursa to the hotel zone; a cable car also runs from Teferrüç in the city to the hotel zone (OpenStreetMap). Timetables and fares were not checked.
