What to see

Visitors move through a series of halls where sound, film and moving images take them through the land and sea battles of 1915; a separate exhibition museum has its own ticket. It is a good introduction before visiting the battlefields, memorials and cemeteries of the peninsula.

One and a half to two hours with the simulation halls and the exhibition.

Closed on Tuesdays. The Ministry page prints prices for Turkish citizens only; groups of school pupils are common, so come early or late.

Getting there

At Kabatepe on the west side of the Gallipoli peninsula, about 7 km from Eceabat, which ferries reach from Çanakkale; by car or with a battlefield tour.
