What to see

The painted wooden houses around the Karacabey Hamam give the area its name ("in front of the bath"); the lanes lead uphill towards the castle quarter.

An hour or two, often combined with the castle and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Busiest on weekend afternoons.

About 15 minutes on foot from Ulus or from Sıhhiye; city buses stop on Talatpaşa Boulevard.
