What to see

The mosque and the tomb of Hacı Bayram Veli, founder of a Sufi order, are a place of pilgrimage. Beside them stand the walls of the temple, on which the Res Gestae — Augustus' record of his achievements — survives in Latin and Greek, the best-preserved copy anywhere.

Allow 45 minutes; the square around them has been opened up and restored.

The mosque follows prayer times and the usual dress code. Access to the temple ruins is not published on a page we could read.
