What to see

The village was settled by Turkmen nomads (Yörük) and grew rich on trade; its two- and three-storey houses, a shared laundry and fountains are protected along with Safranbolu.

One to two hours; some houses open to visitors privately.

People live here: keep to the lanes and ask before entering courtyards.

About 11 km east of Safranbolu off the Kastamonu road; by car or taxi.
