What to see

The three pillars — local legend calls them a family — stand together on a slope with a wide view behind; balloons often pass over them at sunrise.

A stop of 15–30 minutes. There is a roadside parking area and a short walk to the viewpoints.

Do not climb the pillars: the soft rock is fragile.

Getting there

About 2 km west of Ürgüp centre on the road towards Nevşehir; walkable from town in 30 minutes.

Transport lines are general directions, not checked against the operator's timetable.
