Gaziantep in one day: mosaics, castle, bazaars ? and what to eat

Turkey Routes team Team, T?rkiye
Shared October 2026 · 1 day ·4 places

Gaziantep is a food city, but the mosaics come first: the Zeugma Mosaic Museum opens in the morning and is the one thing not to miss. From there the castle (closed on Mondays) and the old bazaars are within walking distance of each other, and lunch happens in the bazaar streets — the city's registered foods, from baklava to Antep pistachio, are on our regional food page. Kurtuluş Mosque, once a church, closes the loop. A team plan built from the data on this site, not a diary; if you walk it, tell us how long the bazaar stop really took you.
