What to see

The fall is one of the sights of the Macahel (Camili) biosphere reserve, a remote valley of wooden villages and old forest.

Allow one to two hours including the walk. The path can be muddy after rain.

We found no published figures for its seasonal flow. The road into Macahel crosses a high pass that can be snowbound in winter.

In the Macahel valley, Borçka district, Artvin; by car over the pass from Borçka, then on foot.
