What to see

The valley of Camili and its neighbouring villages keeps a traditional way of life: timber houses and mosques, beehives hung in trees, and old-growth forest of chestnut and beech along the streams.

Plan a full day or stay a night in a village guesthouse; the road in is slow and winding.

Late spring to early autumn. The pass road over Mount Karçal can be closed by snow in winter.
