A small sinkhole cave near Denizli where warm, sulphur-scented water has built white travertine pools — sometimes called a "little Pamukkale underground".

What to see

Clear thermal water runs through the cave, and where daylight reaches the dripping walls they are covered with moss and small climbing plants that change colour through the day (Culture Portal). The cave is short — about 200 metres according to the cave portal — and very humid.

Allow 30–45 minutes. There is a pool, a small amphitheatre, viewing areas and a café next to it.

The cave portal says it can be visited every day. It is an easy stop between Denizli and Pamukkale on the road to Afyon.

Getting there

In Kaklık, Honaz district, on the Denizli–Afyon/Ankara road about 30 km from Denizli; by car or a bus on that road.
