What to see

A narrow neck joins the village to the shore; lanes of timber and stone houses lead around the island past a ruined church, an old plane tree and wooden boats pulled up on the banks. Boatmen offer short trips on the lake.

Half a day; the sunset over the lake is the main event.

Weekends bring crowds from Bursa.
