What to see

The restored old quarter climbs a slope above the market street, with mansions, small museums in old houses, and shops selling local silverwork, dried goods and the flat, crispy Beypazarı pastries.

Half a day is enough; stay the night in one of the guesthouses if you want the lanes to yourself.

Weekends are busy with day-trippers from Ankara; weekdays are quieter.
