What to see

The town has a Seljuk mosque and madrasa, a ruined castle and waterfront restaurants serving lake fish; a causeway leads to Yeşilada, a small island of houses and guesthouses. Apple orchards line the shores.

A relaxed stop of a night or two, good for walks and as a base for the Kovada and Yazılı canyon nature parks.

The lake is lovely in spring blossom and autumn; winters are cold.

Getting there

About 35 km east of Isparta; buses run from Isparta and Antalya.
