What to see

Paths climb between hundreds of empty houses to two churches at the top of the village. It is an atmospheric, slightly haunting place.

Allow an hour and a half. A marked walking path continues over the hill to Ölüdeniz in about two hours.

Wear sturdy shoes; the paths are rocky and steep.

Getting there

About 8 km south of Fethiye; minibuses run from Fethiye.
