What to see

Because the cave holds a lake, you go in by boat; the cave portal says boats and safety equipment such as helmets and life jackets are provided, for a fee, by the tourism operator. The Antalya culture and tourism directorate describes it as the outlet of one of the largest karst water systems in the world, fed from far inland.

Plan half a day with the approach. The directorate notes that the cave is about an hour's walk from Ürünlü village.

Open in summer and autumn only: in winter and spring the cave fills completely with water and is closed (cave portal).

Getting there

Near Ürünlü village in İbradı district, above the Manavgat river, about 2.5–3 hours by road from Antalya; by car, then on foot.
