What to see

Adatepe's old houses have been restored by newcomers from the cities; there are a few cafés and guesthouses, and olive oil and herbs from the Kaz Dağları are sold in the village. A short walk above it is a rock outcrop known locally as the Altar of Zeus.

Two hours are enough; many people stay a night or two in the area.

Spring and autumn are best for walking. It combines with Assos, Behramkale and the beaches of the Gulf of Edremit.

Above Küçükkuyu on the Gulf of Edremit, in Ayvacık district; by car or taxi from Küçükkuyu.
