What to see

The lanes behind the harbour climb past shops and old houses to a Lycian sarcophagus standing in the middle of a street; the ancient theatre is a short walk west. Swimming is mostly from rocky platforms and small pebble coves.

Kaş is a base rather than a sight: give it an evening, or several days for diving, walking on the Lycian Way and day trips.

Boat trips to Kekova leave from the harbour; they are not covered here.

Getting there

About 190 km from Antalya and 110 km from Fethiye on the D400; intercity buses stop at the bus station above the town.
